Public Joint Stock Company «Khmelnytskoblenergo» is one of the powerful energy supply player in Western Ukraine, with over 35,000 km of electric grid for local electricity transmission and supply, 174 substations (110 - 35 kV) and 7,102 of 10 kV transformer substations with total installed capacity of 3,219 MVA.
«Khmelnytskoblenergo» Management System for electricity transmission and supply services has been certified to national and international standards, DSTU and ISO-9001-2008; the company is gradually implementing process management know-how in its organizational structure and administration. The Company plans to implement integrated quality management system based on the standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, work safety standards, data protection. The Company is completing switching its corporate information network to high-speed digital channels - this project opens entirely new opportunities for the Company's data processing and management efficiency. Consumer Service Centre, opened in 2003 in the heart of Khmelnytsky city, has been recognized country-wide as the model for services and technical equipment. To further improve customer service, the company opened service centres in town Netishyn (Slavutsky district), Trebuhivka village (Letychivsky district), Grechany borough (Khmelnytsky city) and in Letychiv.
Recently the Company focuses its efforts on implementation of the Programme for development of PJSC «Khmelnytskoblenergo» Electric Power Grid. The company upgraded 110 kV substations «Netishyn», «Centralna», «Ozerna», «Pivdenna», overhead line 110 kV Boryshkivtsi — S/s «Kamyanets-Podil'ska-330». The power generator is replacing over 100 km of the physically aged overhead lightning protection cable on 110 kV lines Khmelnytska-330 - Yarmolyntsi and Yarmolyntsi - Dunaivtsi, installing overhead protection cable with integrated fibre optic communication cable.
Given the significant boost of power demand in Khmelnytsky, the company first plans to install new 110 / 10 kV transformer substations and upgrade the overhead transmission lines, aiming to set up a 110 kV double loop around Khmelnytsky city. Currently the construction is under way for 110 kV substation «Lezneve», to be followed by 110 / 10 kV indoor substation «Prybuz'ka», 110 kV «Ozerna-2» and «Zakhidna» substations and 110 kV linkage lines. Further on the company will modernise 110 kV substations «Skhidna», «Dubove» and «Termoplastavtomat».
The Company is implementing video conferencing system between headquarters and the district grids, which will significantly improve efficiency of telephone conferences and video trainings.
The Company operates a Science Laboratory, which develops and manufactures «Khmelnytskoblenergo»-branded mobile and fixed labs for in-field inspection and calibration of instrument current transformers up to 3,600 A and 150 kV voltage, power sources, 6 - 35 kV reference and instrument voltage transformers for grids with insulated neutral and resistant to earth faults. All specified equipment is registered within the State Register of Measurement.
The Company is also implementing ERP system of resource management «my SAP» platform.
PJSC «Khmelnytskoblenergo» is running a pilot project for modernisation of external electric power supply grid for installing electric heating at the houses of its Netishyn customers. Over 2007-2009 the company implemented three stages of the project, installing 38 km of electric lines with usage of modern technologies and self-supporting insulated conductors, mounted 33 complete transformer substations 10 / 0.4 kV, signed up 629 subscribers (inclusive of electric heating, electric cookers and electric water heating).
