Power grid of PJSC «Krymenergo» was developed back in 1930s. Thus, the first 60 kV overhead line «Simferopol-Sevastopol» totalling 61 km was built in 1930; and «Krymenergo» administration was set up in January 1931.
Today PJSC «Krymenergo» is one of the largest Crimean enterprises with over 6000 staff. The company links 25 network enterprises and 4 auxiliary units located in cities and rural areas of the peninsula. PJSC «Krymenergo» core business includes electricity transmission and supply to consumers in Crimea under the agreed terms using tariffs regulated by the current legislation of Ukraine.
The Company operates 29,400 km of 0.4 — 110 kV overhead transmission lines, 4,100 km of 0.4 — 10 kV cable lines, over 10,000 power transformers with total capacity of nearly 6,000 MVA. Our grid and substations are spread over the territory of 27,000 sq. km which houses some 2 million population. The Company serves over 800,000 customers, both individuals and business alike. Special features of the business include high proportion of individual consumers in total electricity consumption - 42.8 % and a low share of industry — only 12.4 %. PJSC «Krymenergo» has already set up a corporate information system based on SAP ERP software. The system is used in all structures of the company which means 25 district electric grids and auxiliary services where the staff operates in real-time framework. The corporate information system of the Company implements the following modules: FI-GL — Finance Information - General Ledger, Debtors, Creditors, Tax Accounting; FI-BL — Banking Ledger; CO —Controlling (cost accounting); PSM-FM — Funds Management; TR — CM — Cash Management, MM — Material Flows Management; AM — Asset monitoring; HR — Human Resources; PM — Maintenance and Repair of Equipment (TOPO).
Innovative approach is the basis of the Company's investment activities and plays a key role in the future development of PJSC «Krymenergo» 0.4 —
110 kV grid.
The key innovations being implemented in the Company:
- conductor Aero-Z — high temperature-proof sophisticated conductor;
- multisided bent towers 35 - 110 kV;
- polymer insulators;
- helical reinforcement for 35 - 110 kV overhead lines;
- microprocessor relay protection (MRZS, DIAMANT, AREVA, ABB);
bushings with RIP insulation and more.
